    Default which car is best

    I am looking at buying on of the following cars a 2.0 DTi LS or a 1.9 CDTi 150 sri. could anyone tell me what the difference in mailage would be in these cars as i am doing near 600 miles a week now with getting to work and things so need to get rid of the petrol. aslo what is tax and insurance like on them both i am 27 with 9 year no claims

    The SRI has better spec on it as the LS is the base model

    I would go for the 1.9 150 as its a far better engine and the extra power will be of benifit. I have a friend who has a 2.0dti and he says it is quite under powerd and runs out of steam on big hills etc.

    sorry but i wouldn't touch a 1.9 vx diesel with a barge pole unless it had a very good warrenty!
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    I want the 1.9 150 aswell ! Sounds like a good engine, think under normal driving it will produce 45/50 mpg, perhaps a little more with a light foot...

    Ive just bought a 1.9 cdti sri 150 and lm getting around 42 mpg combined. Its the best car I owned so far and Ive had 43! Its got so much torque and Im well impressed so far. Insurance is costing £450 with 4 years no claims and im 29
