    i want a code reader to knock off my spanner light on my vec c 1.9 cdti {150ps model}
    and ive seen a couple on the LMF website are these any good and if not could you guys recommend one

    I would try the first one, the opcom one. I have just bought a U480 hand held one and it wouldn't identify the spanner light or put it out. The opcom one needs a pc to connect to though.

    My local garage has a small looking hand-held... he told me it cost him over £2k.... surely this is a bit high????

    i have this one for my audi and it works perfectly,i cleared a few codes on it code_reader

    Possibley the multifunction SnapOn one - I know they are very pricey.. Used to have one until I ran it over!!!!
