tuning box on a cdti vectra estate

i have read a post on here on someone selling a tuning box original_ad in it it said that it was cooking the DPF,what symptons did anyone get when fitting a tuning box to a car with DPF? how do you know if the DPF is getting cooked?

dtuk do actualy list a different tuning box for models fitted with a DPF,i know that when the DPF regenerates extra fuel is injected into the engine to get the DPF to regenerate,do you think that may be the reason why there are DPF issues with some tuning boxes?

have a look under the car under the gear lever,if you have a dpf you should have what looks like a big silencer with pipes coming out of it
