Default Bike Carrier suitable For Signum

Can anyone recommend a bike carrier for the Signum, I've currently got the seats folder down but the mud is making a mess of the interior.

    Thanks

    Do you have a towbar??

The Pendle towbar types are very good ( I will be selling one soon if your interested )http://www.pendle-bike.co.uk/nulldet...w%20Bar%20Rack

The one I have is a Type Approval which only fits on flange type towbars.

I have just changed to the roof mounted ones as I have no towbar at the mo and want to get a setachable one when I do.http://www.thule.com/Thule/ProductPage____83149.aspx

How many bikes are you transporting and what weight are they??

A Saris bones might do the job!! http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/pr..._Bike_Car_Rack

Thanks for the info; unfortunately I don't have a tow bar, I also don't have roof rails for mounting one. I only really need to carry one bike but it would be good to have the flexibility to take 3.

The Saris Bones are very good, but they wont take bikes with odd geometry, like most full suspension bikes and the weight is an issue too. One heavy bike would be fine but will only take 3 bikes of up to 13kg each I think, could be wrong. (P.s mine weighs 20Kg)

I've carried 4 bikes on the roof of my Vec Hatchback using standard VX roofbars & some cheap bike carriers bolted to them (about £17 each), I've been carrying bikes like that for 20 years without a problem

The problem I have is that my bike cost almost as much as I paid for my car after trade in!! And with it weighing a lot(20Kg) and most roof mounted carriers have a weight limit of 17Kg, I dont want it falling off at high speed on the motorway!!

I now have the Thule 530 roof mounted carriers which have a weight limit of 17Kg but I will be using extra starps to give it some more strength!! I hope it holds
