    Default Irmscher?

    Hi

Only been a member since I got my new Vectra a few weeks ago and I have a question about the goodies called Irmscher.

Is Irmscher just extra styling bits for certain Vectra's or is it all Vectra's? In other words are they only for certain top end Vectra's? Does a Irmscher Vectra have a different spec engine or is it just styling that anyone can put on their cars?

    Also what is Richbrook?

Sorry if this is a really daft question but I am curious as to how this all came about because it wasn't like this when I had a Viva many moons ago

    Cheers

Irmscher is a german company who specialise in aftermarket styling parts for the whole Vauxhall range. Richbrook do similar stuff but not on the same scale...

If you go to the Vauxhall website you can find their catalogue I think...

Irmscher parts are available to suit all vectras, you don't need a top of the range motor just to splash out on Irmy parts.
The beauty of modding a motor is: you do it to your own tastes

Irmscher is a German tuning company and it is the house tuner for Opel (but not only). It started with engine tuning, but now mostly styling.

"Nowadays, the name Irmscher is a synonym for sporty, fast and successful Opel vehicles."

Thanks for that so my thoughts that it was something like tuning was correct then. I have been looking through the Irmscher bits and pieces but didn't want to look a total plank by putting them on an ordinary Vectra.

I was wondering if it was like putting go faster stripes on a Ford Anglia back in the sixties! I now see its not

    Thanks
