Default Jusu got the wife a Vax V-060C Vacuum...CHEAP I THINK!!

Bought the wife a Vax V-060C Turboforce Complete Bagless Upright Vacuum from Tesco yesterday, cost me £63.58 and free delivery as I got it ordered to storc.

Did my usual googling checks before hand and found graded one's going for £61.00, so just had to snap this up.

Cheaperst online brand new one was £99.99.

Ebay are selling these for £119.99......bit of a no brainer really.

Only thing we didnt like on the reviews were the fact that it is a bit heavy, but we had the Tesco own brand one before which was also heavy and broke down within 3 weeks.....so back it went.

Should have it by Thursday, but at that price, if anyone needs a new vac, I would recommend this, 2000W motor too!

Anybody already got one of these?

We had a Vax turboforce last year, but something got trapped somewhere and it went bang. Tesco refused to repair it and only gave us our money bag. Was a good bit of kit for cleaning the carpets and wood floors we have.

Got another vax now, and thats not quite as good, but it sucks the pet hairs up at least!

Wife was banging on about a Dyson, but being a complete tight wad, i refused to pay the £150.00 plus for one, so went on the tinternet prowl and found a fair few decent one's.

In all honesty the Tesco own brand we had was awesome, great power and massive power cord, but the brush's failed on it within 3 weeks so didnt want to faff about wiht another own brand.

I was annoyed though as the wife chose the tesco own brand when on the same day, I couldve got a Vax with a 6 year guarantee for £75.00!

I hope this one is better, from experience (the old orange one's) the Vax's are great! Hoep this lives up to expectations!

We've got a similar Vax model, only two things I can fault it on are, it is a bit heavy as you stated, the other thing is the power cord is too short. So we have to use an extension lead with it, or you have to pull the plug out of one room into another. Apart from that the suction is just as good as the old Dyson, that I managed to burn out while hoovering the car!!!
