Help alarm keeps going off

HI its my dads 55 plate vectra estate alarm keeps going off for no reason
then when you turn the ignition on theres a pic of a running man on the screen and says safeguard check.any idears on what the problem may be?

have you cked all the windows and boot are shut properly.........???
also try switching the motion censor off in the car

tryed all that even had the battery tested incase of voltage drop.

I might be talking out of my hat, but isn't there some common issue regarding the rear windscreen on Vec estates that cause alarm problems?
