Strange, unless there was something wrong with my old box...
I was suprisingly amazed! I did the same 100 mile trip today with the K&N as I did yesterday with the standard airbox ( modified by removing the funnel bit inside it )
I got 33mpg yesterday, and 39 today....and that included booting it up quite a bit to see what it sounded like!
The only thing that worries me is untill I use a whole tank I cant compare properly incase the onboard computer doesnt work properly with the K&N, but I somehow doupt this.
in conclusion so far, sounds nice but not too mental, doesnt really feel much quicker but no flat spots at all and seems to give more mpg...again, im amazed!

....does anyone else have a 1.8 sig / vectra with mpg around the same as mine? should it be more ?

At 89p a gallon, that gives you 20mpg.
