Default "Play in upper suspension bushes" ....?

When I had my CID fitted today, VX did another "Visual Inspection" on my car, I had the message ...

"Play in rear upper suspension bushes, wear on inner edge front tyres"

Anyone know what these are? Are they the rose bushes on the control arms or something else?

    Last time they wrote ...

"Slight play in steering rack tie rods. Play in both rear upper suspension arms"

I've bought "Upper control arms" and "Anti roll bar bushes" so far.

Anything else I should look at getting? I tried to ask them but they were busy... LOL

    Hi Hudson,
Can I ask you a question as I'm a newbie? I've the same Signum (Elegance) and just snapped a front suspension spring. Is it possible there are issues reg: suspension setups on these??

With the wear you have on the inside edge of front tyres, and then states that you have play in the steering rack tie rods, what i would be doing is changing the track rod ends, for what they cost, and then getting the tracking done.

There's a simple test you could do to confirn the upper rear control armes are worn, and you do this by rocking the rear wheels by that i mean pushing and pulling on the top of the tyre and see if theres any play or a slight knock(with car on the ground).

VX Springs are known to snap at random times, I've just ordered some PI springs, £115 for the set. There's lots of posts on here about broken springs, sometimes they snap when the car isnt even moving.
