Default Why should i buy a vec instead of this

Need to buy something reliable and economical with reasonable service costs. This is the reason i decided on a vectra and ended up on this site. After posting on another forum asking for other options to a cdti 150 this is one of them. Know nothing about jag's but it looks alot of car for the money. my budget is around 6.5 k.

The X Type diesel is basically a Ford Mondeo in a smart suit.
One of the bosses in work has an 04 Plater like that one, and its caused him no end of grief.
Id not touch one with a barge pole

i should imagine the service cost on an old jag will be way more than a veccie .and you would probibly get a far newer model vec as well

You can get a lot of nearly new Veccy for that money mate, enough to make the diesel model not worth buying as it costs a bit more than the petrol...

Cos I wouldn't go near a car from MB motors with a barge pole!!!!!!! The showroom is just round the corner from me.

I used to work with jags. Some very good ones out there. Everyone's saying about it being like a mondeo, but mondeo came in the top ten of a recent survey for reliability, can't be a bad thing can it!! Cars always come down to your luck really doesn't it just think of the CDTi!!!!
