    Default Springs Advice?

Hi there, Vectra C (2.0 DTI)

hopeing someone can give me some advice on a couple of things,
firsts things first, being a bit of a wally @ the carpark were work i dident realised that the car was grounding hitting exhasts i thought the noise was pressure pads at the bottom of the car park doohhh, shielding on the bottom of exhasts has come off is this mot failure? is it a whole new exhasts? and if so can someone recomend somewere south east/kent that would do it at a reasonable price, or aftermarket alternative

next thing is my rear springs are squeking pretty bad, had a browse in the garage last night and they look fine just a bit of rust built up i think there is hairline cracks in the springs causing them to squeek. are they reasonably easy to change myself? and is there any aftermarket lowering springs anyone can recomend, i had a scout on google and can get a whole set for as little as £60 but would preffer to take some advice on this though.

    thanks, Once again

Are you looking for a Lowering Kit of springs or some Stock springs?
The squeaks could be the spring could also be the arm or the shock.
GM springs on the vectra fre prone to snapping though so if you see a hairline crack it probably is broke.
AS for springs i had a PI Spring only kit for £90 this lowered my Sri a further 30mm (45mm for non sri)
Ride is fine as for fitting i had my mate do them rear ones arent hard to change front ones are abit harder if your not mechanically minded then i wouldnt attempt myself personally

As for the exhaust is it just the cover/guard? if so i would assume you can buy a replacement from a scrapyard etc
