    Default How long for new shocks to settle..

    evening,just a quickie i changed the 2 rear shockers tonight,how long should it take for them to settle in,so the car sits level?
    have used monroe shocks,any ideas?

    Shouldnt need to settle? Did u get relevant ones in length?
    I had some fitted and it hasnt dropped over 16 months

    give it a couple of days mate go over a few speed bumps as you need to get them working

    Do you have an Sri did you buy Sri shocks? If not theyre going to be too long

    Shocks don't settle! Springs settle, shocks will only loosen up. If you took the shocks off the car would still sit at the same height. All they do is slow the movement of the spring down.

    whats the difference between gas shocks and the normal oil filled ones.
