Unhappy rear break problem Vectra Sri

    Hi,
the rear breaks on my Vectra keep seizing up, the handbrake just seems to get tighter and tighter, they are binding that much that they are almost glowing.
i had the discs and pads replaced last year (summer) any ideas as it like towing a tank!!

Who did the work? Was it a VX stealer?

Sounds like whoever did it just pushed the pots back in the calipers without using a rewind tool (it pushes and turns the pots at the same time back into the calipers).

Also worth checking the calipers guide bolts are lubed so the calipers are free to slide (only talking fractions of an inch but can make all the difference).
