    Default Vauxhall Locking wheel bolts

Whilst carrying out some work on my car this weekend around Spenny's we managed to break the locking socket for my alloy wheels. After much swearing we were unable to get the locking wheel bolts off. I have rang the local VX dealer and they want in excess of £110 to remove the other wheel bolts, so what i am after is someone in the Cambs, Herts or Beds area that can remove the other locking wheel bolts with out damaging the wheels.

    Any ideas???

If you have the box they came in with the card and the code on them, they can order a new set for 25 squid which come with the key. You can then ditch them all and put normal bolts on...

You'll end up with a set of bolts and the unlocking tool, but it's cheaper than the other option. Odd really, as the dealers I've been to normally keep a load of the unlocking tools in a box for this sort of situation...

You could try posting up a picture of the bolt and people can check to see if they have the same and live anywhere near you...

Although it would mean they could come and steal your wheels in the middle of the night...

I thought the idea of these locking wheel kits is that each key is unique?

Quite pointless if 1 in 4 keys fit other locking wheel bolts. Would be like going back to the days of when there were only 4 different keys made for the whole of the Ford range of cars.

That would be impossible for them all to be different. There is a limited number of possibilites for these keys.
