Default Wheel Bearing Rear expensive job?

Vehicle is 54 plate Vectra Diesel.

Noticed a slight humming noise coming from the rear and im pretty sure its one of the bearings gone as had simular noise on my renault a while back.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a big job to do? Is it expensive?

    Thanks Ash

It will probably be your tyre's m8,a very common problem on the Vectra, mine does the same and just passed an MOT,there is a long thread about it...........

If it is the Bearing/hub as there one sealed unit, then about £70 from ebay and £40 (1 hours labour) for your local garage to fit.

I enquired for a price from Vauxhall they qouted £185+vat + £60 labour.
After some ringing around a mate can get me a new one for £65 and he will fit for free so not bad at all.
