Exclamation what vectra is good for me?

    Hi,
I am looking fr a vectra but dont know alot about them so if you could point me in the right direction of what you think i might be looking for.
I want a sporty looking model but doesnt have to have the performance, I am much more suited for a diesel model (hope this isnt a bad thing for you guys). Would have an estate but dont know if they do one that is sporty, but an estate is not essential, not bothered how old (but has to be new shape), i am also looking for pointers on how much i expect to pay and what model is right for me, i would be grateful for any information, thanks jules

you want to look at the CDTi SRi models if you want sporty looking diesels.

the 1.9 comes in 2 flavours 120 and 150 bhp. there is also a 3.0 v6 lump but you may not be interested in that as you aren't too fussed about perfomance.

it's a buyers market for what you are after chap... so have fun looking! you can pick up 1 year old models for about 8k if you look in the right place and get a 3 year old facelift (latest shape) for about 5.5 to 6.

    happy hunting!

I'd say an SRI CDTi too loads available. If you don't do a lot of miles there are loads of 1.8 SRi X packs very cheap may be worth a look.

If you are going for Fearures inside the cabin you want a pre facelift SRI
Facelift i think the best model is the elite
Xp is a Sri facelift which is sparse on features but has a nice kit/wheels

The 1.8 is a petrol, the x pack has the VXR style bodykit and the 19" wheels fitted. You can get this in diesel too but much dearer.
