I use Very Cherry from AB (Approved Trader on here) diluted at 10:1.

I bought the larger size but it does need to be used with a Foam Head.

The Megs. one that Halfords do is very good but expensive compared to VC. Wonder Wheels is way too strong IMO.

I have both Auto bright and Meguires Wheel brightener. The Megs stuff is very good. But will remove any wax you might have put on the wheel. I tend to try and keep the wheels clean by washing them regularly even if I am not washing the car.

I use billberry from valet pro works very well and kind to your wheels. If you have cleaned them and still have black marks on the wheels especially in the corners then try tar remover on them it is probably tar. You can also try using an old piece of detailing clay on them works on stubborn brake dust.

I have just finished washing my car. I had no alloy wheel cleaner, and my wheels were in a right state with brake dust and a yellow looking stain.

Looked around my workshop and saw some "Gunk" degreaser so thought I'd give it a go. It worked very very well and is a lot less than proper alloy wheel cleaners!

Just hope that what Gunk contains wont deteriorate my wheels. dont think it will
