    Default H I D conversion bulds

    wonderingif any one can help, i bought a H I D H7 bulb set for my vectra facelirt model i have removed front bumper and headlights fitted the bulb but am having problems with wiring, on the kit i three plugs where i dont know where they go can any one help please

    Two spade connections plug in to the cable inside the lamp that used to connect to the normal bulb, the two other wires coming from the HID bulb connect into the ballest.

    Actually, thinking about it, there's only one way everything will connect as all the connections are different, apart from the spades into the bulb holder...

    i know i may sound very stupid here but what square box i have fitted the 2 wires to the head light wires but im left with 3 plugs a big rectangle a small square and a round one i uncliped the big multi box on the car that connects to the headlights but thats all that connects to it any help is very appreciated many thanks

    Sounds like you've just got the bulbs and not the kit! YOu need a full kit including ballasts to do this MOD.

    Ah, yes, sounds like you bought HID Bulbs. You need a kit including the ballest box (that converts the 12v of the car to 23000V that fires the bulbs.

    What you bought is to replace bubls if you've already got a full HID kit.

    hi thanks i bought it of ebay and your right it is just the bulbs i dont have the two metal boxes with the connecters coming out them i will now need to try and source them or buy the proper kit when i bought the ones i have it said conversion kit although it is just the bulbs can i just say thanks very much you hae been really helpful thanks george
