Exclamation HELP! speedo clocks wont work?!

    What did i do wrong?

Removed the speedo head to check the ribbon to the mileage window on my 07 Vectra as it illuminates when it feels like it!
Put it all back in the car and now it doesnt operate at all? nothing works? as if its unplugged?!?!

I checked all relevant fuses i could see in the handbook.... nothing

    Any ideas please!!

When you plug it back in do you see a few of the leds flash? Can you turn the lights on and the clocks display illuminates?

This happened to mine, really push the plug in hard and then push black tab over, should sort it, sounds like it's not seated properly! This is exactly what happened to me, I thought I had broken it. Give it another try,

    HTH

No mate, you haven't it just needs to be seated well, I promise this is exactly what happened and I thought the same, you should find if you just push it in the lights will flash on, just undo it fully, push in hard and push black tab over, should solve it.

You MAY have bent something but I doubt it!

As Robbie says , you havent bent any pins if the display flashes , really does sound like a seating problem. The offer is still there if for some reason you cant sort it.
