HELLO EVERYBODY PLEASE HELP ME I OWN A 53 PLATE 3.2 GSI WITH 70000 GENIUNE MILES ON THE CLOCK.RIGHT HERE WE GO:THE CAR STARTS FINE AND RUN WELL FROM COLD BUT AFTER SAY 15 MINS OF RUNNING THE ENGINE CUTS OUT DEAD AND WILL NOT RESTART UNTIL ITS COOLED DOWN AND THEN WILL RUN FINE UNTIL IT GETS HOT AGAIN?ANY FEEDBACK OR HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED....THANKS ALOT BRI..

The only safe way to go is that you get the fault codes read....that for starters.
BTW hit CAPS LOCK for us

Could be a sensor for the tempreture giveing the wrong info" to the ECU.

check your thermostat is not locked shut m8

Like ed say's , sounds like coolant temp sensor .
Or some other sensor .

I would check the fault codes yourself first before payin the dealers alot of money to tell you what you can find out for free!

sounds like a crankshaft sensor fault, could be a temp sensor but would expect that to flood it rather than stop it dead
