Sat Nav. Post codes

I have a 1.9 CDTi (150) and have a question regarding the SAT NAV.Mine is the non colour version and I want to know if routes can be planned using post codes, the same as you can on Auto route. I can't work it out nor can I find the info in the handbook. Thanks.

Took me a while to figure this one out too, here's how you do it (my example is ST16 3DD in Stafford):

Instead of entering the town name, just enter the first two letters (ST), then you will notice the number of options decrease and some numbers appear, navigate over to the numbers and enter 16 and then a space. Now enter 3 and you're there - or close enough usually.

AFAIK, you can't enter the last two letters, so you won't get the precise area from the postcode alone, however you can enter a house number and streetname with a postcode already entered and that should be as good as accuracy as you'll ever want!

It didn't stop me swearing at it - it just gave me new things to swear about once I put the postcode in and still didn't get to where I wanted!!
