    Default the beast of Coventry moor !

    ok wife came home the other day saying she had seen some tracks in the snow and couldn't identify them, and well neither can i now its a two legged creature by the way it walks, did think it was a deer but follow tracks and it walks over the hedge. got me stumped ! you say you

    I said rabbit to myself before i seen Davree's post but they do seem very spaced apart to be a rabbit hop!

    I'd go for rabbit. Back print is where it's two hind feet set together when it sits for a mo and the front two are from its front feet. Difficult to be 100% without some idea of scale though. the snow has melted a bit too from around the edges of the print which makes them seem larger than they really are.

    Still looks like a bunny though as the spoor are in a straight line.

    Fetch me shotgun!
