    Default If Ferrari Fit them...........

Just ordered a pair of Bridgestone Potenza RE 050 tyres from my local tyre fitter.
I was looking at getting some Vredestein Ultrac's but after reading up on the Bridgestones, decided to go with them.

They have a good write up, wet, dry and brake tests look very good.
Nice thick rim protector aswell (a must have !).

I don't know if anyone else on here has them or what anyone thinks about them, but what the hell ! It's not as if i do 100mph everywhere !

If they're good enough for the Ferrari Enzo...................

I think they are a very good tyre, I believe these are fitted to my wife's vehicle, not a Ferrari, but quite a fairly expensive car.

AYS I dont think they would fit them to Bentley, Mercs, BMW and many other expensive cars if they were no good.

These tyres are absolutely superb. I run them on my Vectra ST200 & Astra GSi. They aren't quite as good as the SO2;s that preceded them (which in turn weren't as good as SO1 imo), but they are well worth paying the money for. My GSo is now running Yoko Parada;s based on internet reviews, and I can honestly say they are absolute ****e in comparison, especially in wet weather.

Out of interest how much are people able to get these tyres for?

I find Michelin Primacy HP's to be excellent all round trye. I like the sound of these and yes I can find prices on the net but just wondering how much people are able their local fitters down to?

£240 for the pair? That's not bad at all.

I get my Primacy HP's (93v) for £115 fitted with nitrogen inflation (COSTCO), can get the same price at another tyre fittter but without the Nitrogen.

Hope the new rubber sorts your problem anyway.
