Chrome Window Trim

First of all sorry if this has been covered before, I was sure I had seen something in the past but I have searched the forums and cannot find anything.

I was talking to a guy in work and the subject came up about the chrome window trims begining to fade on the vectra and this has happened to the last couple he has owned

can they be replaced under the warranty ?

I had mine replaced by Vaux before I would buy the car from them because they were tarnished, cost 50 sheets, they paid rest.

They'll only replace them under warranty if the car is under 12 months old,hth........
