Default 1.9CDTi Auto not pulling away!

    Hi peeps,

Just started to have spontaneous problems with my Veccy 1.9 CDTi (150) auto, seems when i engage D the car don't pull away despite my foot right to the floor, the turbo is ok i get kickdown after 2000 rpm even cleaned EGR valve still same old!

There's no warning lights on the dash either like the spanner wanna know if anyone has a solution before resorting to the stealers mind you still under warranty only 31k on the clock!

    Any help appreciated

    V.S

    Angry You are not alone!

My 1.9 CDTI Auto has exactly the same symptoms you describe. I'm waiting for the bad news from the dealer now.

    Unhappy Update on daylight robbery

Well now the dealer has phoned. Apparently its the good old EGR valve that needs replacing.
Funny thing that. Last May it failed and it was stripped and cleaned three times to no avail. They then carried out a repair procedure (no spares were available) and said if it fails again come back to us.
Now it's failed again. Since the warranty has now expired I have to pay for the repair.
Why do I get the feeling I've been had?

BTW is the Vauxhall a 3 year/60,000 mile warranty?

Mine's gonna be 3 years old on 5th May 2009 and still have 31k on the clock!

It 3 years or 0k miles - which ever comes 1st. Get it into them now to get it sorted. Dont leave it like I did with my Focus TDCi.
Tell them that you want the manifold checking and the EGR checking.
