    Thumbs up

power not really an issue unless lacking a lot. Mines on a 56 plate with 30,000 on it, have you tweaked yours?

no, not tweaked it, i am happy with the power, thought about getting the k&n filter + st/stl exhaust, more keen about how it looks to be honest.

    confused

I did the airbox mod on my old vectra but it kept overfuelling cos to much air was getting through and consequently failed the MOT due to high emissions so am reluctant to do it again.

In for 8 days to get an oil leak fixed.

    Parts count so far:
    2x timing belt
    2x timing belt tensioners
    1x crank oil seal
    3x rocker cover gasket
    1x rocker cover
    1x head gasket

Oil leak was present when I got the car at 16200, car now has 21000 on it.

And I'm still buzzing about in a 1.2 Corsa...

Well, the dealer said it's the first one they've had with the problem, and they couldn't cure the problem. They ended up talking to Vauxhall Technical who suggested the head gasket, so who knows what the problem was...

The delaer has been fantastic about the problem, and really the problem wasn't a huge one, it only lost 250ml of oil in 4000 miles. But the oil was leaking on to the exhaust manifold, which made a stink when the engine was hot.

I'm still happy with the engine, and considering my last car was an Astra Sporthatch 1.9CDTi remapped to 200hp, I'm finding the VVT's performance acceptable.
