    Default faulty tps

what are the chances of me having a faulty throttle position sensor as my car jumps(kangaroos) and farts about just above idle speed when pulling away or moving slow, also bucks a couple of times when I fully remove my foot off the throttle or is there anyting else that could cause it..would I get a code if it were faulty just above idle...thanks
