    Default Boiling the perfect egg

    i can never do it!.. i either boil tehm too long and end up with a solid rock, or dont boil them long enough and end up with food poisoning! lol!

    Anyone on here know how to get the perfect runny egg, so ya can dunk ya toast in it!?

    easy, boil some water in the kettle. Put the eggs in a cup under the hot tap (so they don't crack when you put them in boiling water).

    Pour boiling water into a pan, add a pinch of salt.

    When boiling again, add the now warmed eggs into the pan of water.

    Boil for 3 minutes (slightly less for smaller eggs)- result is runny yolk and set white.

    Don't keep your eggs in the fridge they don't need it. Try again your normal method depending on the size of egg 2 & a half three minutes. Good Luck ..

    I'm not into those new fangled things, I prefer a pan and the clock - it's like you've achieved something then.
