    Default I Can't Drive!

On the 7th of January i went into hospital in Edinburgh for major spinal surgery, had titanium rods and screws bolted to my spine to straighten out what was a pretty bad curvature. There were heavy risks but thank god everything went well and i got out of hospital 3 weeks ago but it will take more months to recover, and i have a beauty of a 17 inch scar down my back to tell the tale...

I've never went this long not driving since i passed my test six years ago lol im just eager to get back to normal now and get on with life. My lucky father is keeping the veccy warm for me, he's been warned!

Best wishes for a good recovery. If it is any consolation, I can't drive either, but that's because I'm a cr@p driver...........

Glad all went well and get well sson.
I went through a simular thing in 2006 but mine was down to 2 totally shot disks in the lower back and I had already had a diskectomy there in 2001. Anyway I have Titanium bolts, brackets and 2 wedges to replace the disks but its left me with all sorts of problems.
Just make sure you do the max recovery time and dont cheat and think you could just give your car a little wash as its not worth it and only go back to work when you know you are fit

I would just like to say its posts like this and the replies they receive that make this site what it is.

Shame alot of members seem to think the self indulgent ramblings of an inept old man who is obviously failing at life are what would draw new users in.
