just had my old nokia 6300 work phone unlocked from vodafone for my missus to use. i just phoned a couple of phone shops and asked them. they wanted between £15 and £25 to do it. i'd do the same. just pluck a couple of phone shop numbers out of yellow pages and ask if it can be done and how much.

unlock, debrand, rebrand and flash your phone wiv a little help from these guys... download the software and plug in your phone...

it's pretty simple, cost me £8 to take o2 off of my sony ericcson (and in the process got original software that o2 disabled...!)

And remember done incorrectly your phone will be a nice paper weight , and will void any warranty

Better to approach your operator and get the unlock code via IMEI

I thought all O2 handsets were unlocked (ie put any simcard in) these days?

My last 2 phones from them were unlocked.
