new tyres

been looking for new tyres lately and found some maxxis ma v1, 215 50 17
sixty quid fitted just wondering if any one else has them or have heard of them as they seem good value....

I've never heard of them, obviously a budget brand...but you should try and find out if they're "not that bad in the wet, given the price", or "OMG they're trying to kill me".

googled them and and they seem to be quite good..................

Search for the alternate size:- 225/45/17's. More choice and therefore will generally be cheaper.
