Smile Plasma533's new toy. CR2 from Diagnostix

Well.. when i got home friday evening i found 2 cards left through my door. One from royal mail and the other from parcel force.

I went to the local royalmail one this morning and picked up my package. Opened it and it was my CR2 unit Drove about 15 mile down to Parcel Force depot with an empty boot and received 5 large boxes. My rear iRS spoiler, new Irmscher floor mats, door pins, and also new lower spoiler and what i thought was my new exhaust system Opened it all and was the Y branch, the right twin square tail box and heat shields etc etc. But no left one. Can anyone confirm if irmscher number i34 08 14 should come with 2 tail boxes?

Anyways I carry on and go to work and worry about it later. I fitted the CR2 unit and gave it a quick blat between service calls. Didnt feel any much of an improvement but i guess it might be just me. Was gonna wait till the open road. But... I then decided to give it a twiddle on the old screw on it. It sudennly went from nice and tame to stoopid amount of accleration. Smile on my face was soo big u cant imagine found the right setting now not to bring on the engine management light and i'm well happy, just need to sort this darn exhaust out now.

    From Irmscher web site....

High-grade steel rear silencer with daul branded (I think that should be dual branched ) twin tail pipes left / right

    Item Number: i 34 08 014

    Comments:

For vehicles with engine Z19DT, Z19DTH, Z20DTH and Y22DTR. Only in connection with rear lower skirt i 34 01 454 (GTS) or i 34 01 452 (Vectra C) and for vehicles with diesel particulate filter with heat shield i34 08 157 respectivily i34 08 158 (with towing equipment).

Sounds like it's also the twin dual-exit pipes to me. No note in the box/paperwork about any items to come/on back order?

well i've found 1of5,2of5,3of5,5of5 and also 1of1? Maybe 4of5 has gone awol or 1of1 is marked up wrong? Didnt get home till 3 today and they shut at 1. So gonna have to wait till Monday

Gonna get the exhaust put on first then the spoilers. Gonna take some before and after pictures. Example heres me with money before mods, and now poor me without money after mods

BTW they didnt say about anything outstanding either.

    "twiddle on the old screw"?

Since when did the CR2 have a screw? The CR1 does but the CR2 being a digital box (even the new Viper version) doesn't have a screw... I had mine specially built with jumpers (which came in very handy since the remap) but I'm sure there shouldn't be a screw.

on the top of it the clear part, u got 2 star screws to remove the cover top. Underneath you'll see a pot you can adjust. turn it towards the red led to up the gain.

Following on from my suspected missing 4of5 box i decided to give royal snailmail a call. They said that 5 boxes were sent out but box 1of1 was probably marked up wrong. She the girl on the other end of the phone said 'oh wait a minute we've just got one come in this morning for you. its on the van to be delivered'. I said cool, that would be really nice, if anyone was home I decided to go down to royal mail this evening on the way home from work. I turn up and they said its been delivered and left in my back garden!.

I rush home and get it before it rains or gets pinched and checked it out. Its my missing 4of5

Already phoned farmer Giles whos gonna be fitting it for me on Friday. The spoilers are gonna be fitted and blown in some part of next week. So its full steam ahead for me!
