    Default Broken Mileage Button

    Hi,
I have been stupidly putting my mobile phone on my dash in front of the Speedo.
Today after some enthusiastic cornering my mobile slide along and broke the trip rest button. Any help or advice on how to replace this would be great.
    Thanks

    Dannny

    Default Match Stick

Thanks for the suggestion of the matchstick, I gave that a try but the other end seems to just flop about, I think something has come loose behind the dials.
I will take out the dials and see if I can fix with some glue.

Does anyone know if I can buy the button part?

    Thanks

    Danny

    Default

    The button is stuck in
Or atleast once its factory fitted its not supposed to be pulled out!
On the clock set I tried 2 little fingers pop out from the base of the reset button when fitted new.
Pulling hard on the button will result in breaking the fingers off and the button then not staying in any more

    Default Fixed

    Hi,
Thank you all for your help.
I managed to fix the button.
I used the instructions on one of the how2 sections where it gave instructions on removing the dials.
Any much frustration and fiddling around managed to remove the button, it comes out from the back of the dials. As 900ss says it has two ears on it which stop it coming out from the front.
Used a paper clip up the middle of the button and some superglue.
    Seems to be fine now.

    All the best

    Dannny
