Default sloppy drivers side seat belt..........

it doesnt retract like it used to, I keep on having to wait for the belt to slide up before I close the door.

    anyone got a solution?

make sure it's not twisted (with the twist having been pulled through into the door pillar). Check by pulling it all the way out.

Otherwise I guess the belt reel will need replacing.

pull it all the way out and spray some furniture polish on it as it goes back in, worked on my astra when i had similar probs.
Sounds stupid but a quick temp fix
