    Default ICE Project

Right guys got a project coming on for the veccy, but need to know a few things first... Im thinking of having extra speakers in back parcel shelf, and also possibly a sub,but need to know:

A/ If i have extra speakers in back parcel shelf, how big a job is it to split the wires from the back speakers and run them too the back?

B/ Is there a better way of doing it with the standard head unit (SRi with sat nav) think its the CD70, but not sure?

I believe the rear speaker cable is in the rear doors so not a fun job, you would be best taking a feed from the rear of the HU, you can fit a sub and there is some aux connector thing you can get but i think you will loose the rear sound output. Your best bet if you want to keep satnav is to get a satnav HU with rca outputs and wire the sub up to that then upgrade to door speakers or run some extra speakers from an amp

Has anyone got a pic of the back of the CD70 nav, as i was thinking of running speaker cable from the back of the HU to the extra speakers in the parcel shelf, from say the speaker input in the back of the HU.
I still want to keep the standard HU with sat nav.

its blank, you have the iso input and radio input. if your thinking of doing that remove your glovebox and you can get to the wiring behind the unit, also taking out the center vents and screen helps
