Default 18 pin to 32 pin

Need the help of some one with a degree in electrics
Ive looked at this site HERE and there's a wiring diagram that tells you what pins from a 18 pin plug to swap over to a 32 pin plug, would anyone with a wiring diagram of both plugs be able to look at them and tell me what wires are what and tell me what wires on the 18 pin goto the 32 pin for sure.
If i follow the guide on that site it means swapping 12 wires from an 18 pin plug which leaves me 6 wires left ! are these six wires swap like for like ?

Any help would be grateful and i will post pics and a how to when its all wired in
    Regards Don

What are you trying to do?

Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

I'm fitting a GID screen into my car mate I have a crappy TID at the moment that is a 18 pin plug the GID is 32 pin plug
I know all it will be is a big TID screen but i will try and get a NCDC after a while or a ccr2006
So i need to know what wires are what so i can just scotchlok them from the 32 pin to the 18 pin

You can pull the plugs out of the 18 and insert them into the 32. Much easier than scotchlocks

I know but i will more than likely forget what's what and mess it up this way if i scotchlok i can just use my old plug again and tape the other one up if it don't work

Didnt you change your TID to a GID before Lee ?

dont know if this is any help to you, but i just removed my TID which had a 32 pin connector on, and plugged my GID straight in.
Wonder if your TID has an option on the board to fit 32pin or 18 pin sockets - if thats the case you can probly follow it on the board.
