    Default Wheel question ?

Does anyone know if the space saver wheel will fit over the 314mm brake upgrade ?

The space saver is 15 inch, so it may well struggle to cope with the 314mm brakes

Just been and had a nosey in the handbook and its saying it's 16" !
    So i don't think it'll fit . I'm sure you need a minimum of 17" clearance.

I hope it fits as I have a space saver and 314's as standard! I expect its structured to fit
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

The reason i've asked is when we were coming back from my mothers house this evening, the snow was falling quite heavily and i was slipping all over the place.
My car came with snowflakes as standard and i said to Mrs Fil that i might buy a pair of cheap/secondhand 17" wheels (to clear the bigger brakes) and fit some winter tyres to them just for better front end grip. Then i thought about the space saver. I haven't tried this to see if it'll clear the calipers on the 314's !

They must clear as the space saver is the same size for the whole Vectra range and the 3.2 engine has the 314's fitted.

Well as said already, cars with 314's have space savers so they must fit. Unless they expect you to fit it to the rear and put the good rear on the front.
