Help on new wheels (pro race 1.2 vs bk999)

Hi guys, think my first mod is gunna be wheels. I have seen kev's black vectra with pro race 1.2 in black and love it, think it looks real mean.

Only thing i have holding me back is do black alloys look like steel wheels from a glance and when moving?

I am torn between getting the pro race 1.2 in black 18" or getting the bk999s and refurbing them in black/gunmetal.

What do you think, i like the idea of the team dynamics cos they're a lighter wheel but the bk999's would be different

Bk999's, I think they'd look great in a dark/gunmetal colour. I'm not a fan of black alloys on any colour car, but thats my opinion LOL.

thanks for the advise, don't know if you have seen TV this month, there is a black astra in there with anthracite vxr rims and looks the nuts!

Do silver wheels look like hubcaps when moving?,i had pro-race in anthracite on a silver car,looked great to me.

The Pro Race is lighter, so should improve handling by lowering the unsprung weight.

Also they are 8.5J so you can fit 235/40/18s.
