Finally found one!

Well after a lot of searching, a lot of ringing around and a lot of indecision, we've finally found a car and have put a deposit down!

Many thanks to Maverick and Mike for their help and advice.

We looked hard for a Signum but found most were out of our budget and after trying a few Vectras, we decided the space in the Vectra was actually more than big enough.

Car is a 54 Plate Vectra 3.0 V6 CDTI Sri.

Hopefully picking it up on tuesday afternoon!

I'll get some pics up soon as. Test driving in the snow and ice was definately a new one today for me!!

Its just a shame that it will predominantly be my wife's car so i won't get to drive it that often

Quick update:

I did pick the car up on tuesday as planned and so far we're very happy with it!!

Its quiet and smooth, with a nice bit of acceleration and genuinely seems a good example. The electric steering is something to get used to - for me, it also seems a little bouncy? and the car doesn't like 1st and 2nd gear very much - clearly on a big engine these are just starting off gears and that's it!
Loads more room for all our stuff and pleased to have finally found a car we needed. Back off to read the manual and find out where the confirm/enter button is for the trip computer thingy.....
