Was thinking about changing my pollen filter soon and was wondering if there's any real benefit to fitting the charcoal/ carbon filter instead of the standard white one; my car only has standard Air-Con and not ECC
Cheers Pete

The charcoal one also reduces odours coming into the cabin, whereas the paper one only reduces particles.
Ah right , so may be a better option to fit the charcoal on then?

Ive got a charcoal one, keeping it for the summer, when in theory there shoud be more dust etc. just dont be as cack handed as me when you change it, snapped off one of the retaining clips on mine..........
Thanks for that m8 I looked a few days ago when there was another thread running but didn't track one down. I am pleasantly surprised that the cost is not as much as I had thought it might have been. I was thinking along £12 or £15 knowing how anything none standard seems to be these days. Cheers bud.
