POLL: Does your local Chinese sell proper Chunky Chinese chips ?

There seems to be quite a worrying trend going on all over the UK.

A few years ago most Chinese take aways sold fresh chunky chips, however most sell rubbish frozen chips now, and you cant beat a good chunky chip from the chinese

So ive set up a Poll

YES: They sell proper fresh chunky chips

NO: They sell rubbish frozen chips

in the old days they use to fry all the chips up at tea time then thru the nite they refried them as and when u wanted them.

The local chinese doesn't so much sell chunky chips, more like spuds quartered.

All three of ours sell carpy frozen chips But you do get extra salmonela (spelling?????lol) at one of them

I've no idea if my chinese sells chips as I've never asked them! I get chinese from them and my chips from the chippy.

Wow pretty close poll, out of the 6 Chinese take aways in my town only 1 sells proper chunky chips, and when i go on hols we always get a Chinese and never had proper chips only frozen
