Also got told I drive a Reps car! My response to that can't be repeated except to say I told them I get envious looks off reps in their LS's!

A few of my mates said that until they went for spin along a few country roads, they then retracted their statements oh and they own various high powered jap sports cars. I did see a middle aged man eyeing my motor up at work today if that counts as old man material. I think the Vectra C has an unfair image, but not always an old man image more that its a **** sales rep car. In all honesty it is a sales reps car but a very good well made cracker of a sales reps car so whats the big deal. I like my one its quick solid and unique ie not a bmw or merc yet much quicker than most of them apart from 330, and M3.

When you take in the fact that 75% of all vectra sales go to fleet buyers, you can understand why people say its a reps car. Its also a car that doesnt really attract the 'younger buyer' who doesnt have the need for such a big car. Cars like the corsa sri, clio 182, civic type R etc is exactly what they want.

Other than company car drivers most vectra drivers tend to be family men, who are most likely nearing 30 or have past it.

i bought mine at 20...i got a bit of ribbin until i showed everyone how slow their little pug 307's etc actually were...they didn't like that...
