average vauxhal vectra 2.0 2003

Hello there
Does anyone know to tell me please how much is average diesel fuel consumtion per litre for vauxhal vectra 2.0 seems to me that every other day i need to put diesel how do i check if is everything ok what may be problem if engine is eating more diesel than should be Please help

currently around town mileage for me... is 38ish MPG

I do tend to be heavy footed though.

however i do not understand exactly what your answer means, you know i am comming from other country could you please give me guess if you know how much does per litre how many miles or per 100 miles how much does it eat?

A gallon is 4.5 litres. 38mpg works out roughly 7.4l/100km.
