Thumbs up Another one joins the HID club!

I have now fitted my HID's, and I am REALLY pleased with them.

I went for the 5000k hids4u ultimate kit. Extremely easy to fit, and no problems whatsoever (touch wood).

I will try and get some piccies when I can, but I seem to have lost my camera!

    What a difference they make.

    Welcome to the club!

Congratulations on getting them fitted - sorry I couldn't have been more help.

I've got exactly the same set up as you and am still delighted with them. The best thing is, even though I've adjusted the aim to as high as is reasonable, I still haven't been flashed by anyone. The projector lenses seem to give them a really good beam pattern.

Time will tell whether they'll get through an MOT. I expect I shall have to find a sympathetic MOT tester.

just bear in mind that they take a few seconds to warm up to full brightness... so not great for those "flash to pass" or "i'm here" moments...

I Can't believe how awesome these lights are, amazing. And yeah they do take a while to warm up..

Mine start off blue, and quite dim, and within a few seconds are shining brightly, and pure white, with a blue tint when looking at them from the front.

What I might do now is lower the lights, as I did the Duncan trick with them before the HIDS were installed. (http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33655)

I'm paranoid I am dazzling people, despite no-one flashing me, and the beam being about halfway up the boot of the car in front. I might take them to a garage to have the beam checked, although it has passed MOTs with the halogens in.

Unles someone wants to let me park next to them so I can adjust my beam to match theirs?
