    Default HIDs Installed ish

Hi all brought a set of HIDs off JAM Performance on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xenon-HID-conv...713.m153.l1262. Received great communication and very fast delivery considering the weather.
Fitted them today (well tonight) into my 08 Vectra facelift.
Nearside one isnt too hard to fit and inside the battery cover there is a perfect place to screw the balast case without making a hole.
I couldnt get the clips to fit though which im guessing hold the bulb in. It seems that the lens already has a clip built in.

The Offside one is a right pain though and requires a lot more fiddling. I'm going to remove the airfilter cover tomorrow and see if it makes it any easier.

Before fully fitting them I connected them all up in the warmth of the house and once i had disconnected the old bulb I plugged them in and tested them incase there was any problems. I was worried at first but realised it had a positive and negative and switched them round and hey presto. Dont touch them immediately though as damn do they burn.

Once they are in I found that I was unhappy with the other bulbs and had to make a last minute trip to Halfords to get some LED Parking lights as the original ones glow yellow. Only problem I now have is that the bulb fault indicator has now come on and would appreciate if anyone knows a quick fix that doesnt include removing the bulbs or sticking over the warning sign?

I also brought a couple of chrome indicator bulbs while I was at it but realised I have to remove the lights to fit them. This modding business is infectious!!!

I went for a drive and instantly notice a difference in the light output but when I parked in front of a wall I had these peaks in the light level. Is this normal or do I need to adjust them some how as the bulbs only fit one way and clip into place as standard?

Next mod will either be the induction kit, fitting some chrome surrounds to the fogs but I think this requires me buying new sigma fog lights from what ive read? or fitting some new competition meshing to the front bumper. So many choices.

The best way to do it is to piggyback a pair of bulbs onto the existing side lights and feed the leds from a relay, otherwise the leds can strobe when the car does a bulb check,HTH.
