    Default Sagging drivers seat

I've been having comfort issues with my drivers seat since I bought my Vec.

I've faffed about with it loads and got VX to replace a broken lumbar support under warranty, but it's still not right.

The passenger seat actually feels a lot more comfortable than the drivers seat and I've put this down to it getting much less use. You can actually feel the difference between the padding on the seats. The drivers one "gives" a lot easier when you push it on the lower back-rest and seat cushion.

Anyone else notice this with their car? Mine has done 55k, but I estimate that the passenger seat has only been used for about 10k of that.

Annoyingly, the sagging seat cushion drops me down half an inch lower than I think it should, which means the lumbar support presses the wrong part of my back. Anyone know how easy it is to get the cushion off to put some extra material inside?

Alternatively, can the drivers and passengers seat cushions be swapped over?

Which model do you drive mate?

Mine is the Elegance so has the (supposedly) more comfortable, more padded seats.

Makes me wonder if the extra padding is a good idea... The seat design is exactly the same whether they're the usual seats in the base model or the uprated ones in mine. Surely if the extra padding means you sink lower in the seat, the back support will never be right...

    Cheers mate.

I'm seriously considering buying a set of base model seats, or at least the cushion from them...

    Anyone got any for sale?
