    I'm class 2.. along with the usual car van etc..
    also i have all sorts of fork lift license's from warehouse to rough terrain.. plus all sorts of airfield loading vehicles..including tractors, transfer loaders.. baggage loaders.. pretty much all 'airside loading' vehicles

    oh if your going the raf way im qualified to drive and operate all vehicles on base lol one of the joys of being an mt fitter

    i noticed on my brothers.. cos he past his test years ago... that on his, he can drive car & trailer, van & trailer and 7.5tonne.

    so all the new people who have passed there test recently, we can't drive with a trailer.
    have to do an extra test for it!
    I was led to believe if you passed your driving test after January 1997 then an additional test is required to pull a trailer.

    you can tow a trailor up to 750kg's mate, but nothing bigger and you can only drive anything up to 3500kgs with a maximum of 8 passengers

    Hi Car , Motorbike , Lgv 1 . Go get a LGV1 , Class one artic is easter to drive than 4 or Six wheelers.

    "The tables list the vehicle category descriptions for driving tests passed after 1 January 1997 and the minimum ages for driving them. All weights refer to maximum authorised mass (MAM) unless stated otherwise. This is the total weight of the vehicle plus the maximum load it can carry."

    ACTUALLY Im a bit confused by this lot now after reading it in detail.

    Can anybody shed some light on it
