    Default DTUK Tuning boxes

I drive my 150 cdti vectra near 80 miles a day for work, rush hour in the morning so good economy (yes, steady traffic at 50-60 mph) but usually home at about 8pm at night so a bit less speed conscious.

Averaging about 47 or 48 mpg, love the drivability / power / torque of the standard engine.

To the point, do the green dtuk boxes make much of a difference to the economy? More importantly, do they reduce the power / torque?!

I currently do 120 miles a day and get between 52 and 56mpg on average, all done on A roads, and definately extra torque and power.

Extra power and torque and better fuel economy seems like they should be sold out I wonder why we see so many on e bay and the forum if they are that good.

Ran my previous diesels with boxes on and would get about an extra 4-6 extra mpg but the thing that done it for me was the drivability was loads better. Mines were V6 CDTI's though.

I have read the printouts but Leeds Vectra sold one today that is 3 months old for £100 less than RRP if they are that good why? He is not the only one there are loads of them.

Fair enough but people sell things for many reasons , me personally have owned two and sold them on but it was because I traded in my cars not because they were no use.
Loads of people will argue the pros and cons of boxes and remaps, but I rather go with personal experience and mine is two cars , crd2 and a dtuk green systems fitted better power, economy and torque and not one single dash light in 3 years

I did 640 miles to Cornwall and back, and the range was still showing 90 miles (1/4 tank left) with a DTUK Green box fitted. I have mine turned down to setting 7.
