Default How long have you been driving vauxhalls

Hi just thought out of interest how long any of you vauxhall lovers have had vauxhalls?
i myself had a cavalier mk2 x reg for 10 years went through every m,o,t test no probs.
then had a cavalier mk3 for 5 years till some guy ran into the back of me and wrote it off, then i got another mk3 for a while,
went to another make of motor but missed the vauxhall so got a 1.8 sri vectra, then traded in for my 1.9 cdti 150 vectra. i love it.

My mum had a Viva YCF 349K I remember the plate as it was the first car I remember from childhood was around the early 70's, then I got a Viva in 1984, loads of other cars but then went back to Vauxhall, a Vectra b in 1999 and just changed that 3 months ago for a Vecta c.

    Five months

Fords for 13 years before that - it helped my Dad had a Sierra that did 200,000 miles trouble free.

Had a whole bunch of Vectras on hire, so it was easy to buy one. Also the Vectra was a better deal than the Mondeo. So far no complaints...apart from the alternator...and the small door pockets...and the gearbox when cold...
But is the comparable Mondeo worth a grand more? I don't think so.
