    Default 2.0T Engine Model Number

    Hi to all on Vectra-C.

I'm new here and currently don't own a 'C' but going too very soon!
I've been speaking to Regal Autosports about performance upgrades for the Turbo and they are having some trouble finding out anything as we are all unsure of the engine model number , you know Z20LET etc.... Anyway, I was hoping some of you owners out there could assist me.

    link to their site

My brother-in-law is there tomorrow, performance upgrades on his Astra G coupe (Phase 3.5) so hopefully he may get some more info tomorrow. If so I will post again.

    Cheers

    Welcome to the site m8.

The 2.0T in the Vec C/Signum is the Z20NET (Regal should really know that!! It's very easy to find out!!)

I don't know what Regal are offering for that engine, but have a look at this thread . It's very relevant to the 2.0T - I'm one very happy customer!!

Thanks to everyone for this info.

I will get the brother-in-law this so he can pump Regal for more info on Performance upgrades.

If I get more info I will post it here, or setup a sticky.

Has anyone spoke to Courtney regarding upgrades, as they have no info on their site either?

Hee, Hee. Nope, not at all. Just think that any 2.0T owner/potential owner looking for extra performance should be made aware of it as it's not a widely known product.

I also, as you may have guessed!, think it is an excellent product!!

Well, my brother-in-law asked Regal about performance upgrades for the 2.0T and I'm afraid it's not looking too good. With the exception of what Duncan mentioned in his thread, there are currently no performance upgrades available.

Regal mentioned that there are companies working on this at the mo but due to the number of ECU's on the car, apparently 10, it is proving difficult.

Not sure if this is true. So it's just as well that I can't afford to buy for a while.

I'm sure a Saab tuning specialist my have something to say on the subject

Abbott Racing do a 210bhp chip for the 2.0t engine. Dunno how different the Saab is to the Veccy though.

i have one for sale, with the dump valve already fitted to the intercooler hose.
this will save you cutting your stock one :-)
the hose alone cost me £75 plus the forge dump valve kit @ £140.
